Hyper-Parameter란?

A model parameter is a configuration variable that is internal to the model and whose value can be estimated from data. 모델링할 때 사용자가 직접 세팅해주는 값 머신러닝 모델을 쓸 때 사용자가 직접 세팅해야 하는 값이 상당히 많은데, 그 모든 게 다 하이퍼 파라미터다. 예시 은닉층 개수 Epoch Batch size 참고 글: What is the Difference Between a Parameter and a Hyperparameter?
